 Scholarships
 Richard T Mullin Scholarship Each year the East Ramapo Teachers Association awards a $3000 scholarships to a graduating senior from each of the Districts high schools, Spring Valley and Ramapo. The scholarships are given in memory of our long time President Mr. Richard Mullin.
Applications for the scholarships may be obtained in the guidance department of each of the high schools.
William Kaufman Award The family of William Kaufman, former Treasurer of the East Ramapo Teachers Association and a teacher at Chestnut Ridge, has established a $150 award, given annually through the Teachers Association. This award is presented to an eighth grade student, graduating from Chestnut Ridge Middle School, to recognize achievement in overcoming adversity.
John Short Scholarship In honor of the memory of John Short, former Chairperson of the Foreign Language/ESL Department at Ramapo High School and long time leader in the Teachers Association, the Teachers Association has established a $500 scholarship given to a Ramapo High School student in the foreign language/ESL department.
Applications for the scholarships may be obtained in the guidance department of Ramapo High School. |
